Worship at
Our Redeemer
We call our worship the Divine Service because God serves us through his Word and Sacraments. He forgives our sins and strengthens our faith in Christ. We respond with prayer, praise, and thanksgiving.

Historic Christian worship
What happens
in worship
Our services follow the historic Christian liturgy. Much of what we say and sing comes directly from Scripture. The readings, sermon, and hymns proclaim Jesus Christ, crucified and risen for us.
The Word
The Bible is God’s Word and the source of our teaching. Through his Law, God shows us our sin. Through his Gospel, he gives us the good news of forgiveness in Jesus Christ.
Forgiveness
We confess our sins together. In absolution, the pastor speaks Christ’s forgiveness to us on his behalf. We trust that forgiveness because of Christ’s death and resurrection.
Holy Baptism
In Baptism, God joins his Word to water and gives forgiveness and new life in Christ. Baptism rests on his promise. Our pastors can talk with you about Baptism for you or your child.
The Lord’s Supper
In the Lord’s Supper, Christ gives us his true body and blood with the bread and wine for the forgiveness of sins. We celebrate Holy Communion at both services. Visitors should speak with an usher or elder, who can help them connect with a pastor before communing.

Our Lutheran confession
What Lutherans
believe
Our Redeemer belongs to The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. We confess one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ, true God and true man, died for our sins and rose from the dead. Salvation is God’s gift, received through faith in Christ.
Luther’s Small Catechism explains this faith in the words of Scripture. Our new-member classes offer an introduction to Lutheran teaching, and our pastors welcome your questions.
