About your
first Sunday
We would be glad to talk with you. Call (214) 368-1371 or email churchoffice@orlcs.com.
What happens during worship?
We follow the historic Christian liturgy, the order of readings, prayers, and hymns used in worship. In each service we confess our sins, hear Christ’s forgiveness, listen to Scripture and a sermon, and celebrate Holy Communion.
Do I need to know the liturgy?
No. You are welcome to listen and follow along as you become familiar with the service. Ask someone nearby or speak with the pastor if you have a question.
May I bring my children?
Absolutely. Children are always welcome and encouraged to worship with us. They learn by watching and participating; sitting toward the front can help them see and hear. If your little one needs a break, a space is available for parents and children to use. Rejoin the service whenever you can. Sunday School meets at 9:30 a.m.
What should I know about Holy Communion?
We believe that Christ gives his true body and blood with the bread and wine for the forgiveness of sins. We celebrate Holy Communion at both services. If you are visiting, please speak with an usher or elder, who can help you connect with a pastor about our confession and practice before communing.
What about parking and accessibility?
