The Ten Commandments
God’s commandments teach us to love him and our neighbors. They also show us our sin and our need for forgiveness.

Catechism & Confirmation
In catechism instruction, young people study the Scriptures and learn what God has done for them in Jesus Christ. Luther’s Small Catechism helps them understand their Baptism, confess the faith, and pray.

Luther’s Small Catechism
Martin Luther wrote the Small Catechism in 1529 to help people learn the Christian faith at church and at home. Its brief questions and answers gather the essentials of what Christians believe, how we pray, and the gifts God gives.
Luther intended the catechism for use in the household as well as the church. Parents and children can read its explanations, learn its prayers, and talk about the questions it raises.

Jesus teaches us to pray to God as our Father and ask him for what we need.
Through water and his Word, God gives forgiveness and new life in Christ.
We confess our sins and receive the forgiveness Christ speaks through his Church.
Christ gives us his true body and blood with the bread and wine for the forgiveness of sins.
