New-member classes
Learning about
the Lutheran faith
New-member classes introduce what we believe and teach at Our Redeemer. If you are considering membership or would like to understand Lutheran Christianity, contact the church office about the next class.

About the classes
Instruction in
the Christian faith
Lutheran teaching begins with what Jesus Christ has done for us through his death and resurrection. We are forgiven and saved by God’s grace through faith in him.
Classes are an opportunity to ask about Scripture, Baptism, the Lord’s Supper, and our worship. A pastor can also explain the process of becoming a member.
Meet Our Pastors and StaffQuestions worth bringing
Let’s talk
about faith.
You do not need a Lutheran background to ask about a class. These are some of the questions you can discuss with a pastor.
What do
Christians believe?Explore questions about Scripture, Jesus Christ, grace, forgiveness, and the hope of the resurrection.
Why do we
worship this way?Ask about the liturgy, Baptism, the Lord’s Supper, and the gifts we receive when the church gathers.
How can I become
part of this church?Get to know Our Redeemer and talk with a pastor about membership and life in the congregation.
